LazyBoy For Kids
Samantha Burns writes about the new “fat kid” car seats, our typically American solution to the growing problem of corn(syrup)-fed kids. La-Z-Boy? Na, Lazy Parents
This is pretty close to home. You know what my cousin and her husband bought their daughter for her 4th birthday? Her very own LazyBoy recliner. So she could watch TV with Mommy and Daddy. I can barely believe it myself. It’s so … so … Walmart. Might as well just buy the lifetime gift subscription to Lard-Ass Monthly.

Lol, so Walmart. That’s good stuff.
Thanks for the link.

I’m thirty four and I don’t even want a recliner. No way.

I love a good slouch as much as anyone, in fact if you saw me sitting in a chair you’d swear that I dont actually possess a spine (I do, but I can take it out). But I hate Lazy-Boys. Anyone who says they’re comfortable must have grown up sitting on relax-the-back chairs, or tall straight wooden ladder-backs or something.
After that, I’m afraid I have no right to say much of anything. I have a plump child (though it could be a phase), I and my wife are both overweight and out-of-shape, and we feed our children an appalling amount of crap. Which is bad.
