Unless you wanted to carry a friggin brick. No way to tell anyone you're running late, just had to be on time. Nothing to do while driving except listen or to a tape or these new things called CDs or the rave - FM radio. (OK, that wasn't the 80s). Only way to talk discreetly with friends in class or to cheat was to use something called PAPER in little scraps. BTW, Spoon, I'm glad you're still blogging. Keep 'em coming. Stay fresh!
